Festival Internazionale di Mezza Estate features pop-rock and literature

The 42nd edition of the Festival Internazionale di Mezza Estate in Tagliacozzo features a diverse program of music and literature. One highlight includes the presentation of the book “Maria Capitanio. La vera storia di una brigantessa” by Fernando Riccardi at the Palazzo Ducale. The book explores the life of Maria Capitanio and the phenomenon of female brigandage during the post-unification period in 1868.

Musical performances include the “Stars a Pop Rock Celebration” at the Chiostro di San Francesco. This live music event features tributes to global artists such as the Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, and David Bowie.
