Festival Lumière announces 18th edition and Coen brothers as prize winners

The Institut Lumière has announced the program for the 18th edition of the Festival Lumière, scheduled to take place in Lyon from October 10 to October 18.

American filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen will be honored with the Lumière Prize, succeeding Michael Mann. The festival will feature a meeting with the directors on October 16 at the Théâtre des Célestins. Additionally, 'The Big Lebowski' is slated for projection following the closing ceremony on October 18. The event will also include various retrospectives and special screenings of cinematic classics.
