Festival Música Barroca de Dos Mundos launches 5th edition in Córdoba, Argentina
The fifth edition of the Festival Música Barroca de Dos Mundos runs from early July until July 19, 2026, honoring the 300th anniversary of composer Domingo Zípolí. Concerts will take place in historic venues across Córdoba Province, including the Iglesia de la Compañía, the Basílica de Santo Domingo, the Iglesia de Santa Teresa, the Cathedral, and the UNC Cultural Center, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The program features ensembles such as Confluencia Barroca, Confluencia de Dos Mundos, and Barroca Córdoba Coral, with organist Mario Masera highlighted. Educational components involve the university choir and alumni chorus. The festival is organized by Agencia Córdoba Cultura and the Fundación Barroca de Dos Mundos and is supported by the Spanish Embassy and Italian cultural institutes. All events are free and open to the public.
