Festival Theatre hosts production of The Silence of the Lambs

A new stage production of ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ is being presented at the Festival Theatre. The play follows trainee detective Clarice Starling as she interacts with the infamous cannibalistic serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter to gain intelligence on another killer known as ‘Buffalo Bill’.

The production features John Partridge as Hannibal Lecter and Mollie Gallagher as Clarice. The set design utilizes a grey-scale aesthetic with a multi-level structure, including a corridor of cells and a glass box, designed to allow for seamless scene transitions and a fast-paced narrative.
