Fethiye emerges as a hub for multi-activity tourism

The rise of multi-activity tourism is driving a demand for travel experiences that combine various physical activities within a single trip. According to the DERTOUR Group’s European Travel Trend Report, 43% of surveyed travelers in Germany prefer offers that integrate different forms of movement rather than focusing on a single discipline.

Research indicates gender-based preferences in this trend, with women leaning toward fitness, yoga, and wellness retreats, while men show a stronger interest in live sporting events and training-oriented activities. Türkiye is positioned to meet this demand through its diverse range of sporting and activity-oriented experiences.

In the Muğla province, Fethiye and the Ölüdeniz region have emerged as key destinations for these activities. Paragliding from Mount Babadag over the Aegean coast is highlighted as a primary attraction, complemented by other options such as trekking, water sports, yoga, and wellness.
