Feti Yıldız details scope of Turkey's new legal regulation

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız has provided details regarding a legal regulation passed by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with 467 votes. The regulation, part of the 'Terror-free Turkey' process, is expected to benefit approximately 2,800 individuals.

Yıldız stated that the implementation process is anticipated to reach a conclusion by the end of November, after which procedures for relevant individuals in prisons will begin. However, he emphasized that certain groups will be excluded from this regulation. Specifically, the founding cadre of the terrorist organization and approximately 230 high-level executives who have held leadership roles since 1984 will not benefit from the law.
