Feyenoord boss van Bronckhorst readies team for injuries and transfers

Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Feyenoord’s head coach, said the club combines medical data with his own experience as a former player to monitor each player’s physical load. He stresses an intensive training regime that mirrors match intensity while also asking players how they feel, noting that some injuries are unpredictable and can result from accidents.

He warned that several key forwards – Givairo Read, Ayase Ueda and Anis Hadj Moussa – are attracting interest from other clubs, and while he is not “afraid” of possible departures, he expects the upcoming transfer window could bring changes. Van Bronckhorst also highlighted defender Jeremiah St. Juste’s return to full training after a season of physical problems, indicating the squad’s overall readiness for the challenges ahead.
