Feyenoord demands €65m for Japanese striker Kiyose Ueda as Premier clubs eye move
Dutch club Feyenoord has set a transfer price of €30‑35 million (about ¥65 billion) for Japanese national‑team forward Kiyose Ueda. The club rejected an offer from Premier League side Everton and turned down interest from other English clubs such as Brentford and Aston Villa, stating the fee is far above what prospective buyers are willing to meet.
Feyenoord’s technical director also indicated a desire to retain Ueda, with the club’s new manager emphasizing his importance to the squad. Ueda’s contract runs until the summer of 2028, leaving open the possibility that he will stay for the upcoming season if a suitable offer is not received before the European transfer deadline at the end of August.
