Feyenoord eyes new head coach, considers Giovanni van Bronckhorst as assistant

Feyenoord is actively seeking a new head coach for the upcoming season. The club has identified Sipke Hulshoff as the leading candidate to take charge, while also evaluating other possibilities such as Carlos Vicens, who has been linked to the role but is not expected to be appointed immediately.

In parallel, Feyenoord is contemplating the return of former player and ex‑coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst in a supporting capacity. The former international, who previously led the team to a league title in 2017, could re‑join the technical staff as an assistant if Hulshoff accepts the head‑coach position. The club’s technical director, Dévy Rigaux, is steering these appointments amid broader changes to the coaching team.
