Feyenoord eyes Oliver Glasner and Sebastien Pocognoli as successors to dismissed coach Robin van Persie

Feyenoord's head‑coach role is vacant after the dismissal of Robin van Persie. The Dutch club has added Oliver Glasner, the Austrian manager, to its shortlist, alongside Belgian Sebastien Pocognoli.

Pocognoli, who guided Union Saint‑Gilloise to a league‑and‑cup double in the 2024/25 season and secured a Champions League group‑stage place, most recently served as AS Monaco’s manager. His tenure there lasted 38 games, ending with a seventh‑place finish in Ligue 1 before he left the post. Transfer journalist Nicolò Schira reported both candidates on X, noting that other names may also be under consideration.
