Feyenoord players Zechiël and Vanhoutte discuss club roles

Feyenoord players Gjivai Zechiël and Charles Vanhoutte have shared insights regarding their roles and development at the club.

Gjivai Zechiël was named the Eredivisie Player of the Month for August. After debuting in 2023 and overcoming a significant knee injury, Zechiël secured a starting position following loan spells at Sparta Rotterdam and FC Utrecht. He credited his growth and maturity to those experiences.

Charles Vanhoutte, who joined Feyenoord from OGC Nice, described his role as a player who performs the unglamorous work, such as closing spaces and winning duels to support his teammates. He expressed enthusiasm for the club's ambitions and the upcoming Champions League matches at De Kuip.
