Feyenoord signs striker Nacho Ferri as Ayase Ueda replacement; Heerenveen keeper Nordin Bakker joins Midtjylland
Feyenoord completed the signing of 21‑year‑old Spanish forward Nacho Ferri from KVC Westerlo. The club view Ferri as the direct successor to Japanese striker Ayase Ueda, who is expected to leave after the World Cup. Ferri, previously with Eintracht Frankfurt and KV Kortrijk, will undergo a medical in Rotterdam before finalising the deal and is projected to become the first‑choice striker.
Heerenveen’s reserve goalkeeper Nordin Bakker transferred to Danish champions FC Midtjylland. The 28‑year‑old, who had a contract with Heerenveen until 2027, moved after a medical in Denmark for an undisclosed fee. Bakker featured in two matches for Heerenveen last season. The club continues to search for replacements in several positions, including a new backup keeper.
