Feyzullah Aktürk celebrates league title ahead of Presidential Cup

Following the conclusion of the 2026 CW Enerji Turkey Oil Wrestling League, attention has shifted to the upcoming Presidential Cup, scheduled for September 26 at the Istanbul Millet Bahçesi. The competition will feature eight top wrestlers: four from the Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling tournament and four from the Turkey Oil Wrestling League.

League champion Feyzullah Aktürk has secured his place in the cup. In Akhisar, a parade and ceremony were held to celebrate Aktürk’s championship victory. During the event, Aktürk expressed his ambition to win the historic Kırkpınar gold belt, noting his progression from 11th place in his first league season to champion this year.

Representing Kocaeli in the Presidential Cup are Seçkin Duman, who placed third at Kırkpınar, and rising talent Sinan Yıldız. Other confirmed participants include Erkan Taş, Ali Gürbüz, Mustafa Taş, Orhan Okulu, and Yusuf İslam Taş.
