Feyzullah Aktürk Crowned Champion at Kocaeli Sekapark Oil Wrestling Tournament

Feyzullah Aktürk Sekapark Altınkemer Kocaeli oil wrestling TRT Spor Yıldız Kırkpınar qualification

The 18th Sekapark Altınkemer oil wrestling tournament was held in İzmit, Kocaeli, from 12 to 14 June 2026. About 1,700 wrestlers competed across several weight classes in the fourth stage of the CW Enerji Turkey Oil Wrestling League.

In the final, Feyzullah Aktürk defeated Mustafa Taş to claim the title of başpehlivan. The gold belt was presented to him by Kocaeli Mayor Tahir Büyükakın during a ceremony attended by federation officials and local dignitaries. The championship match was broadcast live on TRT Spor Yıldız at 17:00 on 14 June.

Aktürk’s victory secures him a direct entry and a favorable draw for the historic 664th Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling Festival scheduled for early July, where top performers from this league earn qualification and seeding advantages.
