FFKM to launch Madagascar national consultation process

The Council of Christian Churches in Madagascar (FFKM) is set to launch the national consultation process with an ecumenical service at Voara Andohatapenaka. This event marks the transition into the operational phase of the consultation, which aims to address national renewal and recovery.

During the proceedings, the FFKM is expected to present the various stages of the consultation process and introduce the national coordinator responsible for overseeing the initiative. The process is designed to be grassroots-oriented, with consultations intended to reach the level of fokontany to gather public expectations and concerns before they are centralized and synthesized.

The launch comes approximately one month later than originally projected. Political, social, and institutional actors, as well as international partners, are looking for concrete details regarding the methodology and the specific timeline for these consultations, particularly in relation to upcoming electoral deadlines.
