FGTS Calamity Withdrawal deadline set for residents of Fonte Boa and Prainha

Residents of Fonte Boa in Amazonas and Prainha in Pará have until September 1, 2026, to apply for the FGTS 'Saque Calamidade' (Calamity Withdrawal). This measure is designed to mitigate financial impacts caused by natural disasters, such as flooding, in municipalities officially recognized by the Federal Government as being in a state of emergency or public calamity.

The benefit allows eligible workers to withdraw up to R$ 6,220 from their linked accounts, provided there is sufficient balance. Eligibility is validated by local Civil Defense and the Federal Government, and the funds are managed by Caixa Econômica Federal. Applications can be processed digitally through the official FGTS app by providing identification, CPF, and proof of residence.
