FIADEL union demands unpaid wages for Teramo waste workers

The FIADEL union in Teramo has issued a formal warning regarding the treatment of workers who transitioned from Mo. Te. SpA to Teramo Ambiente SpA. The union is denouncing what it describes as “unacceptable penalties” and critical issues affecting the staff responsible for the local public waste management service.

A primary concern is the delay in payments, with the union stating that employees are still waiting for various outstanding economic entitlements and salary components following the transition. FIADEL argues that these unpaid wages are placing a heavy burden on workers' families and must be settled immediately.

In addition to financial disputes, the union is calling for the full respect of acquired rights and social clauses. They have also raised concerns regarding working conditions, specifically citing the need for sustainable workloads, suitable equipment, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations. FIADEL is demanding an urgent meeting between company management, local institutions, and public shareholders to resolve these disputes.
