FIAP announces 2026 shortlist for Ibero-American creativity awards
The Ibero-American Creativity Festival (FIAP) has announced the shortlist for its 2026 edition. The list features 449 finalists from 21 countries, representing a 7.7% increase compared to 2025.
Brazil, Spain, and Peru lead the rankings with 61 finalists each, followed by Mexico with 53, Ecuador with 36, Argentina with 32, and Guatemala with 27. The selection process involved approximately 300 professionals across the region. According to the festival, 60.6% of entries advanced based on scores, while 39.4% gained direct access through recognition at allied awards.
FIAP CEO Daniel Marcet noted that the festival serves as a common space for regional work to be evaluated through a shared lens that respects local cultural particularities. The 2026 edition also highlights a significant increase in student participation and will introduce a new award for ‘Creative School of the Year’.
