Fiat and Leapmotor offer discounts under Move Brasil program

Automakers Fiat and Leapmotor are offering specialized pricing and financing for taxi and ride-hailing drivers through the Move Brasil program, a federal government initiative.

Fiat is providing discounts of up to R$ 29,000 on seven models. For taxi drivers, the Fiat Cronos Drive 1.0 and Fastback T200 Smart Drive are available with significant reductions due to IPI and ICMS exemptions. Ride-hailing drivers can access discounted rates on models such as the Mobi Like 1.0 and Argo Drive 1.0. The program has also extended maximum financing terms from 72 to 84 installments.

Leapmotor is participating with its C10 Ultra-Hybrid and B10 Electric models. The C10 Ultra-Hybrid is priced at R$ 168,090 for taxi drivers and R$ 192,490 for ride-hailing drivers, while the B10 Electric starts at R$ 144,690 for taxis and R$ 170,190 for app drivers. The C10 utilizes REEV technology to provide extended range.

Key updates to the Move Brasil program include a reduction in the minimum activity requirement for ride-hailing drivers from 12 months to 6 months, provided they have completed at least 100 trips. These changes aim to encourage the adoption of hybrid and electric vehicles within the professional driving sector.
