Fiat considers reviving the Punto model

Fiat is evaluating the return of the Punto, a compact hatchback model that ceased production in 2018. Arnaud Belloni, the CEO of Fiat, Abarth, and Lancia, stated that the Punto should once again be part of the brand's product lineup.

The move aims to strengthen Fiat's position in the B-segment, where it currently lacks a versatile five-door city hatchback to compete with established models like the Renault Clio, Peugeot 208, and Dacia Sandero. While the potential revival has generated interest, the company has not yet confirmed a formal production or sales schedule, nor have specific technical details regarding design, equipment, or engine options been released.
