Fiat Doblo to resume production at Bursa plant in Turkey
Fiat Doblo, the iconic light‑commercial van, will once again be built in Turkey. Production of the sixth‑generation model is set to restart at Tofaş’s Bursa factory in the third quarter of 2026, ending a three‑year hiatus.
Fiat brand director Altan Aytaç said the Doblo sold 10,507 units in the first four months of this year, more than double the same period in 2025, securing a 23.7% share of the Turkish minivan market and maintaining its segment leadership. Over the past 26 years more than 600,000 Doblo units have been sold in Turkey. The restart is expected to boost the momentum of local production, which also includes the Scudo and Ulysse models that together hold a 26.1% share of the light‑commercial vehicle segment.
