Fiat Egea production ends at Tofaş factory in Bursa

Production of the Fiat Egea, which has been a top-selling model in the Turkish automotive market, has officially concluded at the Tofaş factory in Bursa. The production run, which began in 2015, was originally scheduled to end in late 2025 but was extended until June 30, 2026.

Over its 11-year production cycle, a total of 1.4 million units were manufactured at the Bursa facility, serving individual consumers, fleets, and commercial taxi operators. To mark the end of the model, a final limited edition titled the “Egea Cross Limited Efsane Serisi” has been released, consisting of only 100 units with unique production numbers, priced at 1,999,900 TL.

Following the conclusion of Egea production, Tofaş plans to repurpose its Bursa production lines for new projects under Stellantis. The facility will focus on the K0 platform, aiming to produce next-generation passenger and commercial vehicles, including hybrid and electric models.
