Fiat expands affordable line-up in Portugal, adds gasoline models

Fiat unveiled a new range of cost‑focused vehicles at a launch in Portugal’s Comporta resort. The Grande Panda, 500 Hybrid and larger Fiat 600 are offered with gasoline engines and manual gearboxes, priced from €14,900 to €17,900, alongside electric and hybrid versions. The company highlighted the return to simpler internal‑combustion powertrains to broaden budget options for European customers.

Separately, Stellantis announced that its upcoming 2028 models – a new Fiat Panda and a revived Citroën 2CV – may also be produced with gasoline engines, in addition to electric and hybrid variants. The cars will be built at the Pomigliano d’Arco plant in Italy, target a sub‑€15,000 price point and form part of the group’s E‑Car project aimed at affordable city cars for the European market.
