Fiat marks major Brazilian milestones with Strada named top compact pickup and Fastback hitting 200,000 units
The Fiat Strada was again recognized as Brazil's most cost‑effective compact pickup for 2026, winning the category for the fifth consecutive year. By May 2026 the model had sold 68,738 units, outperforming its only rival, the Volkswagen Saveiro Robust CS, by more than double. Prices range from R$ 116,990 to R$ 153,990 and the vehicle offers a four‑door layout, automatic transmission, a turbocharged engine and a cargo capacity of up to 1,354 L.
In the same market, the Fiat Fastback SUV reached the production milestone of 200,000 units in less than four years. Built at Stellantis' Betim plant, the Fastback was launched in September 2022 as Brazil's first SUV‑cup‑style model. It is available with three power‑train options, including a 1.0‑litre turbo, a hybrid‑assisted 1.0, and a 1.3‑litre turbo delivering up to 185 hp. The 2026 version adds a reshaped front fascia, a 10.1‑inch digital infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, inductive wireless charging and advanced driver‑assist features. The model also offers a panoramic sunroof and a spacious 600‑litre boot.
