Fiat Pulse hits 250,000 units produced amid Brazil's growing compact SUV market

Fiat's Pulse compact SUV has reached a production milestone of 250,000 units and 200,000 sales in Brazil, cementing the brand's foothold in the country's fastest‑growing vehicle segment. The model, developed as Project 363 and built at Stellantis' Betim plant, uses the MLA platform derived from the Argo and introduced the first three‑cylinder turbo engine for Stellantis in South America. It was also the first flex‑hybrid offered by Fiat worldwide, and its name was chosen by a public vote that attracted over 380,000 participants.

At the same time, the Brazilian market is seeing new double‑cab pickups from Renault (Oroch), Fiat (Strada Volcano) and Chevrolet (Montana) with discounts of up to R$16,000. Prices start around R$124,000, and the models combine cargo capacity with passenger comfort, featuring modern engines, safety equipment and infotainment systems. The launch reflects growing consumer demand for versatile compact trucks that can serve both work and family needs.
