Fiat Pulse reaches 250,000 units and unveils 2026 redesign in Brazil

The Fiat Pulse, Brazil's first locally‑built SUV, has marked two milestones: 250,000 units produced and 200,000 sold since its 2021 launch. The model, based on the Argo platform, is also exported to Argentina and Mexico. In addition to its existing lineup—including the 1.0 T200 hybrid‑light Impetus version—the brand announced a full redesign for the 2026 model year. The upcoming generation will adopt a new front fascia with horizontal grille slats, a more squared look, and interior trims in darker tones. It will be built on the CMP platform, derived from the new Grande Panda, allowing a longer wheelbase and larger overall size to better compete with rivals such as the VW T‑Cross, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks. The new Pulse is expected to retain the 1.0 T200 hybrid‑light powertrain, though power output may be adjusted to around 116 hp, and a possible Abarth‑branded version could feature the 1.3 T270 engine. The redesign positions the Pulse as the largest Fiat offered in Brazil and aligns it with the upcoming European‑market Grizzly nameplate.
