Fiat rolls out new Argo hatch and lowers Strada pickup prices in Brazil
Fiat announced that it will launch a new Argo hatch for the second half of 2026, basing the model on its European Grande Panda platform and aiming to become the best‑selling car in Brazil. The launch is part of a broader lineup of six new hatchbacks expected in the country, including updates from Honda, Renault, Chevrolet and new Chinese marques such as Baic and Dongfeng.
In parallel, Fiat reduced the price of its Strada pickup in São Paulo and Brasília. The Freedom Cabine Plus 1.3 manual fell from R$123,990 to R$90,000 in the Federal District, while the Endurance 1.3 manual is offered at R$94,990 in São Paulo, trimming more than R$20,000 off the official price list. These cuts position the Strada well below the Volkswagen Saveiro, which starts at R$112,690.
