Fiat Strada tops Brazil sales and reaches 900,000 units produced

The Fiat Strada compact pickup emerged as Brazil's best‑selling vehicle in the first half of 2026, with 83,041 registrations, securing a clear lead in a market that recorded 1.356 million new car licences. Volkswagen's Polo and T‑Cross followed in second and third place, while the BYD Dolphin Mini was the top electric model.

In a parallel milestone, Fiat announced that worldwide production of the Strada has surpassed 900,000 units in just six years, underscoring the model’s popularity across Brazil and neighboring South‑American markets such as Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. The pickup’s evolution includes a larger cabin, four‑door layout, automatic CVT, and a turbo‑charged T200 Flex engine, catering to both work and family use.
