Fiat Topolino custom designs unveiled by Giugiaro and Elkann
Designers Fabrizio Giugiaro and Lapo Elkann have unveiled two unique custom interpretations of the Fiat Topolino, named Top. L and Top. J. The project, a collaboration presented at the Torino Auto Show at the GFG Style stand, aims to demonstrate how a compact and accessible city car can be reimagined through creative design.
The Top. L is a two-seater, open-top version stripped of non-essential elements. Its design draws inspiration from rebellious sports cars, specifically referencing the aesthetic of James Dean’s ‘Little Bastard’. It features a matte aquamarine body with a matching leather and Alcantara interior.
The Top. J focuses on versatility and social interaction within a vehicle less than three meters long. It features an unconventional four-seat configuration where passengers sit back-to-back to maximize legroom. This version replaces the traditional roof with a canopy and utilizes a blue and green livery inspired by the 1950s Ferrari 166 MM.
