Fiat Topolino marks 90th anniversary with international rally in Turin

From 11 to 14 June, Turin will host an international rally to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Fiat Topolino, the iconic small car first presented on 15 June 1936. Organized by the Topolino Autoclub Italia, the event is part of the ASI 60‑year calendar and will bring together more than 130 crews, including participants from Scandinavia and New Zealand.

The programme combines driving tours and public exhibitions. On Thursday the convoy will ascend to the Sacra di San Michele; Friday participants will tackle a loop around Turin’s outskirts, linking landmarks such as Superga and the Royal Palace of Venaria. Saturday the Topolinos will be displayed in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, followed by an evening visit to Stellantis Heritage Hub and the Castello di Rivoli. The final day includes further tours and historic site visits.

The celebration highlights the Topolino’s role in post‑war Italian mobility, its production of 520 000 units until 1955, and its lasting cultural significance as the “mother of all 500s.”
