Fiat Topolino named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026

The Fiat Topolino has been named one of TIME magazine’s ‘Best Inventions of 2026’ in the design category. The electric quadricycle is recognized for its Italian design and its approach to urban mobility, blending classic styling with modern electric propulsion.

The vehicle has seen significant commercial success across Europe, maintaining its position as a market leader in the electric quadricycle segment for the second consecutive year. It has recorded strong sales in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland, and has reached the top of the market in France as of July.

Designed for urban environments, the Topolino is highly compact, making it suitable for navigating historic city centers and narrow streets. In many European countries, it can be driven by individuals as young as 14 with an AM license, offering an ecological alternative to traditional scooters.
