Fiat unveils 500 hybrid convertible and 600 Turbo 100 in Italy

Fiat presented two new models for its lineup at a media event in Torino on 22 June 2026. The 500 is now available as a hybrid power‑train equipped with a cabriolet body, while the new 600 is fitted with the Turbo 100 engine that debuted recently on the Grande Panda.

Alessio Scutari, Managing Director of Fiat Italy, said the additions respond to market demand: many Italian buyers still prefer a compact SUV with a manual transmission, with roughly 40 % opting out of full electrification in favour of affordability and practicality. The launch was held at Stellantis&You’s headquarters in Torino.
