Fiat marks 50 years in Brazil with free Mineirão festival and upcoming seven‑seat Pulse SUV

Fiat is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Brazil with a free festival at the Mineirão stadium in Belo Horizonte on 21 July 2026. The event, titled Fiat Festival 50 Anos, will feature performances by Thiaguinho and Iza, an exhibition of historic Fiat models, and will be hosted by journalist Pedro Bial. Admission is free in exchange for a one‑kilogram non‑perishable food donation to the Paixão Alimenta project.

At the same time, Fiat’s flagship hatchback, the Argo, has reached a production milestone of 750,000 units at Stellantis’ Betim plant. Launched in 2017, the model has been a top seller in Brazil, offering a 1.3‑liter Firefly engine, CVT transmission, and a range of tech features. It also participates in the government’s Move Brasil – Taxi & App fleet renewal program.

Separately, Fiat’s upcoming Pulse SUV, part of the F2U project, was spotted in testing on the streets of Belo Horizonte. The seven‑seat vehicle, known as Grizzly in Europe, will be built on the new CMP platform and equipped with a 1.0‑liter turbocharged T200 engine paired with a 12‑volt mild‑hybrid system, delivering 116 hp. The model is slated for launch in 2027 and is part of a R$ 14 billion investment in the Betim facility that also includes future generations of the Strada, Fastback and Mobi.
