Fiat unveils Multiplina electric micro‑van, a lightweight L7e vehicle

Fiat is preparing to relaunch the cult‑car name with the Multiplina, an electric micro‑van styled after the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla. The vehicle will be classified as an L7e light‑vehicle rather than a conventional passenger car, allowing speeds up to about 90 km/h. At roughly three metres long, the Multiplina is meant to sit between the two‑seat Topolino and standard city‑size cars, offering a spacious interior in a compact footprint.

The concept was presented as a study in the Vatican and Fiat aims for series production in 2028. Pricing details have not been released. The project is positioned as a “missing link” in Fiat’s model range, targeting urban mobility with electric propulsion.
