Fiat Grande Panda receives design award and battery upgrade

The Fiat Grande Panda has been awarded the AUTOBEST ‘Best Car Design of Europe 2026’ trophy. The award, presented during a ceremony in Paris, recognized the vehicle through a combination of professional jury expertise and public voting across 32 European nations.

In addition to the design recognition, Fiat is expanding the Grande Panda Electric lineup. A new version featuring a 54 kWh battery is now available, increasing the WLTP-rated range from 320 km to 400 km. This upgrade comes with an 11 kW on-board charger as standard, replacing the previous 7.4 kW model that featured an integrated charging cable.

Market availability and pricing vary by region. In the Netherlands, the 54 kWh version is priced at 27,499 euros, a 1,000 euro increase over the 44 kWh base model. In Turkey, updated October 2026 campaigns offer the electric model with either a 100,000 TL cash discount or a zero-interest credit option.
