FiberCop launches Arianna podcast on network innovation and quantum security

Italian fiber‑network operator FiberCop announced the launch of a new podcast called “Arianna – every innovation stems from a connection” on 28 July 2026. The series is designed to translate complex subjects such as scientific research, network technologies and data protection into accessible audio stories for a broad audience.

The inaugural episode focuses on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), a cutting‑edge method that uses the laws of physics to secure data traveling over optical fibre. FiberCop is testing QKD at its Innovation Hub in Turin, aiming to protect information against future quantum‑computer attacks. The technology is presented as especially relevant for sectors such as banking, healthcare and public administration, where data confidentiality is critical.
