Fibra Mty prepares second acquisition offer for Fibra Macquarie

Fibra Mty is preparing a second public tender offer (OPA) to acquire the remaining Certificados Bursátiles Fiduciarios Inmobiliarios (CBFIs) of Fibra Macquarie that are not currently owned by the company. This follows a previous acquisition in May where Fibra Mty secured 80.69% of the outstanding certificates.

The proposed indicative terms include an exchange ratio of 3.20 Fibra Mty CBFIs for every one Fibra Macquarie certificate. Investors may also opt for a cash payment of 44 pesos per certificate, or a combination of both certificates and cash. The company has set a maximum limit of approximately 6.53 billion pesos for the cash component of the offer.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals from the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) and the National Antitrust Commission. Fibra Mty is currently managing the authorization process with the CNBV.
