Fibwi Palma defeats Class Sant Antoni in preseason basketball friendly

Fibwi Palma Bàsquet Mallorca secured a decisive 97-65 victory against Class Bàsquet Sant Antoni in their preseason friendly as part of the Trofeu Aon organized by the Balearic Islands Basketball Federation.

Led by coach Álex Formento, the Palma-based team maintained control throughout the match, utilizing strong perimeter shooting and collective play. Key contributors included Shilo Jackson, Dorde Simeunovic, and Garmine Kande. Palma established an early lead and maintained a significant advantage through both halves, heading into halftime with a 51-32 lead.

The match served as a debut for Class Sant Antoni’s new coach, Boris Balibrea, and a test for their heavily renovated roster. Despite the loss, Balibrea noted that the team is focused on establishing tactical identity and responding well to high-intensity training during the preseason.
