FIDAS motorcycle rallies promote blood donation in Italy

The “Metti in moto il dono” initiative, promoted by FIDAS, continues its efforts to raise awareness for voluntary blood donation through motorcycle rallies across Italy.

In Sicily, the upcoming 2026 edition will feature a route through the Etnean territory. The event will begin in Tremestieri Etneo, traveling through Nicolosi to the Etna region at 2,000 meters, and concluding in Paternò. The initiative involves various local FIDAS associations and the State Police Motorcycle Club, aiming to combine the culture of solidarity with road safety awareness.

In the Basilicata region, the fourth edition of the event concluded with positive results. Approximately 78 participants traveled a 130 km route through various towns, including Calciano, Anzi, Balvano, and Muro Lucano. Organized by Fidas Basilicata, the rally emphasized both the importance of blood donation and the necessity of adhering to traffic laws and safe driving practices.
