Fidel Castro legacy celebrated with launch of 10‑volume 'Revolución' book series

Ocean Sur published a ten‑volume collection titled “Colección Revolución” that examines the ideas and speeches of Fidel Castro Ruz. The series was unveiled by the Union of Young Communists (UJC) on the centenary of Castro’s birth and International Youth Day. The opening ceremony was led by Meyvis Estévez, the organization’s first secretary, and featured remarks from Ana María Cabrera, Ocean Sur’s editorial coordinator, who said the project aims to bring Castro’s thoughts to new generations. Youth members of the UJC compiled the volumes, which include key documents, letters and speeches that illustrate the revolutionary legacy. The event, held at the UJC headquarters in Budapest and also presented in Havana, was accompanied by slogans such as “¡Viva Cuba! ¡Abajo el bloqueo!” and highlighted the intention to keep the revolutionary ideals alive in contemporary society.
