Fidelia Chigbogu, sister of late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, dies in Lagos

Fidelia Ezinwanne Chigbogu, the elder sister of the late former Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, has died suddenly at the age of 61 at her residence in Lagos.

According to her husband, Chudi Chidinma Chigbogu, the death occurred on a Sunday morning while she was prepared to attend church. Chigbogu stated that his wife intended to share a testimony at the altar regarding a recent electrical fire at their home, which had been caused by an exploding electricity meter days earlier. Although the fire had caused damage, the family had escaped unharmed.

Mr. Chigbogu reported that he discovered his wife unresponsive on their bed around 8 a.m. after she failed to come downstairs as expected. Despite attempts to seek medical assistance at multiple hospitals, she could not be revived. She was described by family members as a peacemaker and a central figure in maintaining family unity.
