Fidelity Bank and Renaissance hold separate corporate events in Nigeria

Fidelity Bank Plc held its 38th Annual General Meeting, where shareholders commended the institution for its financial resilience. Despite a challenging operating environment, the bank reported a non-performing loan ratio of 2.4 per cent and a capital adequacy ratio of approximately 16.1 per cent. Shareholders also noted the successful completion of a N227.05 billion private placement, which positioned the bank above new regulatory thresholds.

In Abuja, Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, in partnership with the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN), hosted a pre-retirement seminar for public servants. The program focused on preparing participants for life after active service, covering financial management, pension systems, healthcare options, and post-service business opportunities. Igo Weli, Vice President of Relations and Sustainable Development at Renaissance, emphasized that retirement should be viewed as an opportunity for reinvention and continued societal contribution.
