Fidelity International expands digital fund access and ETF lineup

Fidelity International is exploring ways to expand access to its Ethereum-based tokenized money market fund. Currently restricted to professional and institutional investors, the firm is considering broadening eligibility and potentially introducing daily or intraday yield features.

The company’s existing digital offerings include the Fidelity Digital Interest Token (FDIT), an on-chain share class of a Treasury-focused fund, and the Fidelity USD Digital Liquidity Fund (FILQ). The FILQ, launched on Ethereum in May 2026, requires a minimum investment of $100,000 and utilizes Chainlink oracles for off-chain data integration.

In a separate move to bolster its European presence, Fidelity International has launched a new Equity Enhanced Yield range of active exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The initial products, the Fidelity Global Equity Enhanced Yield UCITS ETF and the Fidelity US Equity Enhanced Yield UCITS ETF, have listed on Germany’s Xetra and Italy’s Borsa Italiana, with a London Stock Exchange listing expected on October 5. These funds combine fundamental research with a systematic options overlay designed to generate income and provide a cushion against market volatility.
