Fidelity reports record retirement savings as EagleSwap hits swap milestone
Fidelity Investments’ second quarter 2026 Retirement Analysis indicates that U.S. retirees are maintaining strong long-term savings habits. Average balances in 401(k), 403(b), and IRA accounts have reached historically high levels. Specifically, 401(k) account balances rose by 10.5% from the previous quarter, with an average savings rate of 14.4%. Additionally, IRA contributions increased by 36% compared to the same period last year.
As investors explore diversifying retirement portfolios beyond stocks and mutual funds, interest in cryptocurrency assets like XRP is growing due to institutional interest and potential ETF products. Platforms such as ASDeFi are being utilized by holders looking for ways to achieve continuous asset accumulation.
Separately, the non-custodial cryptocurrency swap platform EagleSwap has reached a milestone of 10,000 completed swaps. The platform allows users to exchange digital assets across various blockchain networks through a web interface without requiring an account. EagleSwap offers both floating and fixed exchange rates and provides a reseller API for business integrations.
