Average balances in 401(k), 403(b), and IRA accounts have reached historically high levels. Specifically, 401(k) account balances rose by 10.5% from the previous quarter, with an average savings rate of 14.4%. Additionally, IRA contributions increased by 36% compared to the same period last year.
