Fidelity warns Bitcoin bear market may not be over amid recent rallies

Fidelity Digital Assets has issued a cautious outlook regarding the cryptocurrency market, stating that recent price rallies do not guarantee the end of the Bitcoin bear market. Despite Bitcoin recording its strongest monthly gains since late 2024—with significant price increases in August—Fidelity analysts suggest it is too early to confirm a definitive market bottom. While some believe the low may have occurred in July, the firm notes that a new low could potentially form in November 2026, following historical four-year market cycles.

In a separate development, the crypto project Apeing is approaching its scheduled token presale launch on September 8, 2026. The project has reportedly built a whitelist of over 15,000 participants. Apeing is utilizing an audit-first approach to prioritize security and is offering early access to whitelisted users for its Stage 1 sale.

Broader market indicators show mixed signals. While Bitcoin has seen substantial rebounds, institutional analysts emphasize the need for sustained demand and on-chain activity to confirm a long-term bull cycle. Additionally, regulatory developments, such as the SEC’s comment period and upcoming Senate votes on crypto-related legislation, remain key factors for the sector.
