Fidesz headquarters tour led by Tamás Deutsch

Following an invitation from Viktor Orbán for the public to visit the Fidesz headquarters, MEP Tamás Deutsch led a tour of the party's building on Lendvay Street. The visit, which included a group of local retirees, provided a look into the historical and modern functions of the site.

The building, which has been owned by Fidesz for over 36 years, dates back to 1901 and previously housed the State Office for Church Affairs. During the tour, Deutsch highlighted historical elements of the structure, such as an early 20th-century elevator and original vacuum systems, alongside historical Fidesz posters and founding documents.

The tour also touched upon the political history of the building. While critics have previously raised questions regarding the party's acquisition of real estate following the 1990 elections, Deutsch maintained that the party's actions were legal and dismissed such claims as political accusations from opposition parties.
