FIEG Opens Submissions for 3rd Sustainability Prize in Goiás
The Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Goiás (FIEG) has announced that the deadline to submit entries for its 3rd Sustainability Prize is Friday, 31 July. Applications are free and must be submitted through an electronic form on the federation’s website. Eligible participants include industrial, commerce and service companies based in Goiás, as well as municipal administrations, universities, research institutes and civil‑society organisations. Projects must have been implemented between June 2024 and June 2026 and show at least six months of measurable environmental, social and governance (ESG) indicators.
The prize is organised by FIEG’s Conselho Temático de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade (CMAS) and is divided into five categories: Industry; Municipalities and Public Administration; Universities and Research Institutions; Civil‑Society Organisations; and Commerce and Services. An independent judging panel of market specialists, academics and public‑sector representatives will assess entries on impact, innovation, results, people engagement, social benefit, replicability and alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The award ceremony is scheduled for 28 October 2026 during the 3rd Expoind. Vice‑president Flávio Rassi said the award seeks to recognise good practices and encourage further sustainable solutions for the benefit of Goiás and its residents.
