Fierrobot humanoid robot intervenes in Guadalajara traffic

A humanoid robot named ‘Fierrobot’ has gained public attention in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, Jalisco, for intervening in traffic flow to demand respect for pedestrian rights.

In the San Juan de Dios neighborhood, the robot was recorded using integrated speakers to command vehicles and motorcycles to clear pedestrian crossings. While the device has become a viral sensation, local mobility corporations and municipal authorities have not officially accredited it as a traffic agent. The robot’s presence aims to encourage adherence to basic circulation rules in the region.
