Asociación Hermanos Saíz celebrates 40th anniversary in Cuba

The Asociación Hermanos Saíz (AHS), an organization representing young artistic vanguards in Cuba, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. To mark the occasion, President Miguel Díaz-Canel met with over fifty members of the association and attended the presentation of the 'Maestros de Juventudes' awards to approximately twenty Cuban and foreign personalities.

Díaz-Canel emphasized that the construction of socialism involves a struggle for meaning, beauty, and spirituality, noting that young creators are active participants in this process. He encouraged artists to continue committed creation and aesthetic experimentation.

In Matanzas, the AHS is conducting a wide program of activities through October 20, including the 'Ensayo General' youth art fair, ceramic workshops, hip hop sessions, and concerts by groups such as Los Muñequitos de Matanzas. The celebrations highlight the organization's role in promoting young talent and Cuban culture.
