FIFA extends Visa payment partnership through 2030
FIFA announced the renewal of its global partnership with Visa, extending the payment‑technology agreement that began in 2007. The renewed contract runs at least until 2030 and will see Visa remain the official payments partner for all FIFA competitions, including the 2027 Women’s World Cup, the 2029 Club World Cup, youth tournaments and the e‑sports Fifae event, as well as the 2030 Men’s World Cup.
FIFA’s commercial director Romy Gai said the collaboration reflects a shared ambition to innovate and bring fans closer to the sport, while Visa’s marketing chief Frank Cooper III highlighted the partnership’s role in generating economic activity for host cities and expanding fan experiences.
